Sugar-Pecan Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. finely chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light.
    Beat in egg, vanilla and salt.
    Gradually stir in flour.
    Shape dough into 2 rolls, each about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 6 inches long.
    Roll each in 1/4 cup of the pecans to coat outside.
    Wrap in waxed paper; chill thoroughly.
