Cheese Corn Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cornmeal; stir in\tcheese.
    Add
    egg,
    milk and shortening; stir just to moisten dry
    ingredients.
    Fill greased 2-inch muffin cups 2/3 full; bake at\t400\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until brown.
    Yield:
    12 muffins.
