Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen French-style green beans
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can water chestnuts, coarsely chopped
    1/2 tsp. tarragon or basil, crumbled
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (3 oz.) can French fried onions
Preparation
    Cook beans according to package instructions; drain well.
    In a large bowl, combine mushroom soup, milk, water chestnuts, tarragon or basil and salt and pepper.
    Mix well and stir in beans.
    Place in a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and sprinkle with onions.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes, or until bubbly and onions are crispy.
    Makes 6 servings.
