Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water
2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vinegar
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup and water. Cook to soft ball stage. Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns dark (300\u00b0).
Remove from heat and add soda, salt and vinegar.
Stir well and pour into a buttered cookie sheet. Cool.
Break into pieces.
Yields 2 pounds.
