Buttermilk Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks oleo
5 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten

Preparation

Bring oleo, cocoa and water to a boil.
Sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda in a bowl.
Pour boiling mixture over dry ingredients and mix well.
Add buttermilk, vanilla and eggs.
Stir all together and bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until cake tests done.
