Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. Crisco
1 c. creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 c. plain flour
2 tsp. soda (level)
1 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz.) bags chocolate kisses

Preparation

Sift flour, salt and soda together.
Cream sugars, shortening and peanut butter.
Add eggs to this mixture.
Add flour, buttermilk and vanilla.
Roll into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0 in preheated oven.
Place kisses in center of cookie while hot, pressing them in gently.
