Ingredients

1 baked 8-inch pie shell
4 c. fresh strawberries
1 c. granulated sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Wash and hull strawberries; drain thoroughly.
Arrange 2 cups of the whole berries over the bottom of baked pie shell.
Crush remaining berries and put in a saucepan.
