Marinated Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can corn, drained
    1 can English peas, drained
    1 can green lima beans, drained
    1 bell pepper, diced
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 cucumber, diced
    2 Tbsp. pimentos
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil for 1 minute.
    Add vegetables to the hot liquid.
    Add the oil.
    Heat just until vegetables are hot; remove from heat.
    Let cool; store in a covered dish.
    Will keep for weeks.
