Make Ahead Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices bread (crusts removed)
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1 1/2 c. shredded Colby or Cheddar cheese
    6 eggs, beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    margarine for greasing pan
Preparation
    Generously grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Cook sausage until brown; drain well.
    Arrange bread to make a \"crust\" on bottom of pan.
    Spoon sausage over bread; sprinkle with cheese. Combine eggs and half and half to salt.
    Mix well.
    Pour over cheese.
    Cover casserole with plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate overnight.
