Apple Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. sliced apples
1/4 c. slivered almonds
Preparation

Cream margarine, sugar and vanilla.
Blend in flour.
Spread dough in bottom of 9-inch spring-form pan.
Combine cream cheese and sugar.
Mix well.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Mix and pour over pastry.
Combine sugar and cinnamon.
Toss apples in mixture and spoon apples over cream cheese layer.
Sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 400\u00b0.
Bake 25 minutes. Cool before removing from pan.
