Cheese And Sausage Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. sausage
    1/3 clove garlic, mashed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. instant grits
    1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    2 large eggs, well beaten
    1 can green chilies, chopped
Preparation
    Brown and drain sausage.
    Add garlic, salt and pepper; set aside.
    Cook grits according to package directions; add to sausage.
    Stir in cheese, butter, eggs and chilies; mix all well. Pour into a well buttered 13 x 9-inch casserole dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
