Chow Chow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck green tomatoes
    2 qt. red vinegar
    1 qt. sugar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. cloves
    2 Tbsp. allspice
    1 Tbsp. salt
    6 onions
    6 sweet peppers
Preparation
    Peel and chop tomatoes and onions.
    Remove seeds from peppers and chop.
    Mix all ingredients in a large cooker and cook until tender.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars and seal at once.
    Makes 15 pints.
