Shrimp And Bay Scallop Marinara - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. olive oil
2 cans tomatoes (2 lb.), smashed up
1/2 c. basil leaves
2 Tbsp. parsley, minced
1 c. dry vermouth or white wine
1/2 lb. shrimp
1/2 lb. bay scallops
1 lb. linguini
fresh Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute onions and garlic in olive oil. Add tomatoes, basil and parsley. Simmer 25 minutes, uncovered.
In a separate saucepan, heat vermouth until just about boiling. Add shrimp and scallops. Boil until shrimp turn pink and scallops turn white.
Add seafood with vermouth to tomato sauce and simmer. Serve over linguini and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
