Apple Rings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 large apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
spices to taste (mixed spices)
4 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation

Cut apples in rings after peeling and coring.
Bring to a good boil the water, sugar, vinegar and spices. Drop apples in and cook slowly until tender. Color with red food coloring, if desired.
