Betty Rhule'S Soft Icing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. cold water
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix flour with water and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Cool.
    Soften butter and add Crisco.
    Mix at high speed for 4 minutes.
    Add sugar and mix again at high speed for 4 minutes.
    Add flour mixture and beat an additional 4 minutes at high speed.
    Stays soft.
    May be frozen.
