Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. peeled, sliced raw apples
1 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Preparation

Sift dry ingredients except sugar and set aside.
Mix oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Add nuts and apples.
Add dry ingredients and mix all together.
Mixture will be very thick.
Bake in 11 x 13-inch pan that has been greased and floured.
Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
Serves 20.
