Frozen Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 tsp. salt or substitute
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar or substitute
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 carrot, shredded
    1 red or green pepper, chopped fine
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt or substitute on cabbage.
    Let stand 1 hour. Squeeze water out and add carrots and sweet peppers.
    Combine vinegar, water, sugar or sugar substitute, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Boil one minute.
    Cool and pour over cabbage.
    Freeze in containers.
    Thaw about an hour before using.
