Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
    1/2 c. white syrup
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    6 qt. popped corn
    peanuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix butter, syrup and sugar.
    Bring to a boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add cream of tartar, salt and baking soda.
    Stir until foamy and pour over popped corn. Spread on cookie sheet after mixing.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour. May add peanuts, if desired.
