Hash Brown Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/3 c. margarine
    1 c. meat (optional)
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/4 c. green pepper
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Press hash browns between paper towels to remove excess moisture.
    Press onto bottom and sides of ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
    Drizzle with butter.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Combine meat, cheese and green pepper.
    Spoon over crust.
    In small bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour top.
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0.
    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
