Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light molasses
    1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 beaten egg
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Bring shortening, sugar, molasses and vinegar to a boil. Cool.
    Add egg.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add to egg mixture.
    Mix well; chill.
    Roll and cut out.
    Bake on greased cookie sheets at 375\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
