Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. onion soup
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
    2 tsp. shortening (to fry in)
    2 tsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Combine beef, soup, crumbs, milk and egg.
    Brown and pour off fat.
    Add flour in skillet and brown.
    Add remainder of soup in water.
    Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
