Easy Yeast Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 2 c. warm to hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. shortening
    4 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Beat egg.
    Mix in sugar and Crisco.
    Add flour. Stir yeast and water and pour into other ingredients.
    Mix with a spoon. Grease muffin pan well. Fill 3/4 full with dough.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes or as brown as you like. Store remaining dough in covered bowl in refrigerator.
    It will keep for about a week.
