Hawaiian Cheese Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. flaked coconut, lightly toasted
1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
1/3 c. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained
1 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
yellow food coloring (optional)
1 (8 oz.) container frozen nondairy whipped topping, thawed
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Combine coconut and margarine.
Press on bottom and sides of 9-inch pie plate.
Bake 4 to 5 minutes.
Cool. In large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy.
Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then juice concentrate.
Stir in pineapple, rind and food coloring, if desired.
Fold in whipped topping.
Chill 3 hours or until set.
Garnish as desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
