Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 oz. carrots, shredded
    3/4 c. Wesson oil
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves and allspice
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. pecans or black walnuts, chopped
Preparation
    Combine oil, eggs and sugar on low speed in mixer.
    Add baking powder, soda, salt, water, cinnamon, cloves, allspice and flour. Turn mixer to medium speed and add carrots and pecans or black walnuts.
    (Self-rising flour may be used but omit salt, soda and baking powder.)
    Bake in 2 round 8-inch pans 35 minutes at 350\u00b0 or bake in 13 x 9 x 2-inch oblong pan 40 minutes.
