Pecan Pie Surprise Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. butter or yellow cake mix
1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
1 egg
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease bottom and sides of a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Reserve 3/4 cup of dry mix for filling.
In a large mixing bowl, combine remaining cake mix, butter and egg; mix until crumbly.
Press into pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 or 20 minutes, until golden brown.
