Chicken Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2 c. boiling water
    3 medium potatoes, diced
    2 large carrots, sliced
    1 1/2 c. cooked chicken
    1 chicken bouillon cube
    pepper to taste
    2 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook onion and butter or margarine in large pot until tender. Add water, potatoes, carrots, cooked chicken pieces, chicken bouillon cube and pepper.
    Cook over medium heat until vegetables are tender.
    Add milk.
    Heat, but do not boil.
    Serves 6.
