Sweet Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. cucumber slices
    lime (1/2 c. to 1 gal. water)
    pickling spice
    1 c. sugar to 1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Cut and slice cucumbers and soak in lime water mixture.
    Soak 24 hours or overnight.
    Take out and soak in clear water 2 hours or more.
    Take out and drain very well (I use a thirsty, thick towel), then put in a mixture of sugar, vinegar and spices. Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Seal.
    Very easy, good and crunchy.
