Caramel Nougat Roll Or Pecan Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 c. water
    2 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    2 1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix sugar, 1/2 cup syrup and water well.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
    Bring to a boil; cook, without stirring, until it reaches firm-ball stage (252\u00b0).
