Hot Mulled Cider - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 qt. cider
    1 tsp. whole allspice
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    3-inch stick cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar, salt and cider.
    Tie spices in small piece of cheesecloth.
    Add spices.
    Simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Remove spices.
    Serve hot with twist of orange peel.
    Use cinnamon sticks as muddle.
    Makes 10 servings.
