Maxine Wyckoff'S Peach Spice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 c. oil
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 c. nuts (optional)
    1 c. sliced peaches and juice (1 lb. 13 oz. can)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. each cinnamon and nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. each cloves and allspice
Preparation
    Put all ingredients in mixing bowl.
    Beat with mixer until well blended.
    Place in ungreased tube pan.
    Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Cool in pan; when cool, remove from pan and spoon on glaze.
