Seafood Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. flour
6 cloves garlic
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 1/2 lb. shrimp
3 bay leaves
1 qt. tomatoes
1 pt. okra
1/2 pt. oysters
1/2 c. oil
1 can crabmeat
1/2 lb. fish
salt and pepper to taste
hot sauce
1 1/2 to 2 qt. water
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Preparation

Make a roux with flour and oil.
Add garlic; cook until golden brown.
Add onion and green pepper; cook until clear.
Add shrimp, tomatoes and okra; simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in water.
Blend well.
Add crab and bay leaves; cook for 30 minutes.
Add oysters and fish; cook 10 minutes.
Let sit before serving.
