Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. squash, diced
    water
    1/2 stick butter
    2 Tbsp. flour (plain)
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation
    In large saucepan, cover the squash with water and boil until well done. Pour the water off. Then pour the water off 2 more times!
