Golden Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cake flour
    3/4 c. cold water
    2 tsp vanilla
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    1/2 tsp cream of tartar
    7 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp baking powder
    1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Sift together the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.
    Make a well and add salad oil, egg yolks and cold water.
    Beat with a spoon until smooth.
    Beat egg whites in a large bowl with cream of tartar.
    Beat until very stiff peaks form.
    Do not under beat!!! Pour egg yolk mixture gradually over whipped egg whites, folding with rubber scraper.
    Pour into 10 inch tube pan.
    Bake 55 minutes in 325\u00b0 oven.
    Increase to 350 for 10 minutes.
    If using 1/2 recipe, bake in 9 inch square pan, 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
