Fried Oysters Without Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cream-style corn (2 c.)
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. flour
    2 or 3 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Mix and drop by spoonfuls into hot grease or oil.
    Fry until brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
