Layered Bacon Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head shredded lettuce
    1/2 c. onions
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 c. green pepper
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 box frozen peas
    1 lb. crisp bacon, crumbled
    mayonnaise
    Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in order listed.
    Seal with mayonnaise. Cover with cheese.
    Keep covered 6 to 12 hours in fridge.
    Take out and mix up before serving!
