Pecan Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large sweet potatoes
1 tsp. nutmeg or to taste
1 stick oleo
1 c. dark brown sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

In a saucepan, put whole sweet potatoes and water to cover and cook until done.
Remove potatoes and, when cool enough, peel them and mash well, creaming in nutmeg; spoon mixture into a baking dish.
In a skillet, melt the oleo; add sugar and pecans and cook until sugar is dissolved; pour over potato mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
