Best Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white rice, uncooked
    1 qt. plus 2 Tbsp. milk (whole)
    1 envelope unflavored gelatin
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pt. whipping cream
    few blueberries, raspberries or sliced strawberries (optional)
Preparation
    In heavy saucepan over medium heat, bring rice and 1 quart milk to boil.
    Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring often, for 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
