Granola - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. rolled oats (not instant)
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. untoasted wheat germ
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or salted cashews)
    3/4 c. shredded coconut
    1 1/2 c. unprocessed oat bran
    1/2 c. untoasted sesame seed
    1/2 c. unsalted sunflower seeds
    1/2 c. vegetable or safflower oil
    3/4 c. honey
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Stir together the oats, sugar, wheat germ, nuts, coconut bran and seeds.
    In a small pan, heat the oil, honey and vanilla until bubbling.
    Thoroughly mix liquids with dry ingredients.
    Bake for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Stir until cool.
    Add raisins when cool.
    Makes about 15 cups.
