Old Fashioned Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. dry marrow beans or dry lima beans
    2 large onions (whole)
    1 box brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. salt pork, diced
    1/2 c. molasses
    4 Tbsp. dry mustard
Preparation
    Wash, then soak beans overnight.
    Boil beans until edges curl when blown on.
    Place beans and bean water in a large crock.
    Add salt pork, molasses, brown sugar and dry mustard.
    Bury onions, after pricking with a fork, in the beans.
    Add enough water to cover beans.
    Bake, covered, at 225\u00b0 to 250\u00b0 for 8 to 9 hours or overnight.
