Carolina Ham In Gingersnap Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 slice smoked ham (1 1/2 inches thick)
    4 gingersnaps, crushed
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. onion juice
    1 c. hot water
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. slivered almonds
    1/4 c. raisins
Preparation
    Broil ham for about 15 minutes, turning often.
    Mix all other ingredients.
    Cook on moderate heat until smooth.
    Serve on ham.
