Ingredients

1 stick margarine or butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. chocolate chips, melted
1 tsp. baking soda
dash of salt
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar in large bowl.
Blend in melted chocolate.
Add egg and vanilla; blend well.
Combine flour, soda and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixture.
Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 8 to 9 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Cookies will still be soft.
Cool on sheets until set, about 1 to 2 minutes.
Cool completely on wire racks.
Makes about 2 dozen.
