Gingerbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. molasses
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda in 1 c. boiling water
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. ginger
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix shortening, sugar, molasses and eggs.
Add soda and water. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into greased 8-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
