Indian Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. milk
    1 c. corn meal
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. corn syrup or molasses
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. raisins
    1 scant tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Bring 1 pint milk to a boil.
    Stir in the corn meal; cook until thick.
    Put into a baking dish.
    Add 1 quart milk, corn syrup or molasses, salt, raisins and ginger.
    Bake, stirring often, for about 1 1/2 hours in a 350\u00b0 oven until thick.
