Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    3/4 c. melted butter (1 1/2 sticks)
    14 oz. Kraft caramels
    1/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix the first 3 ingredients.
    Pour half into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 about 15 minutes.
    Melt in double boiler the caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
    Remove cake from the oven and pour caramel mixture over it.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top. Spread the rest of the batter on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
