Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 or 5 large apples, peel and slice
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    3 c. flour
    4 large eggs
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    1 c. oil
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Mix apples, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon together.
    Set aside. Mix the remaining ingredients and beat until smooth.
    Pour half the batter in well greased and floured tube pan.
    Pour 1/2 of apple mixture over batter.
    Add rest of batter.
    Then add remaining apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
