Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. sliced squash, boiled in salted water
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 can sliced water chestnuts, chopped
    1 c. grated cheese
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. mayonnaise
    bread crumbs for topping
Preparation
    Saute onion and pepper in margarine.
    Drain and mash squash. Drain again after mashing if needed.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Grease 2-quart dish.
    Top with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
