Eggless-Milkless-Butterless Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. water
1 c. raisins
1 c. nuts
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Boil all together for 3 minutes.
Let cool.
Add 1 teaspoon soda, dissolved in a little water.
Add sifted together 2 cups flour and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
(One batch equals a bread size loaf.)
