Ingredients

1 c. soft margarine
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
chocolate fudge frosting
Preparation

Sift flour, salt, soda and cocoa.
Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk to creamed butter, sugar and eggs. Beat well after each addition.
Beat in vanilla and water.
Bake for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool and frost with your favorite fudge frosting or German chocolate frosting.
