Rolled Chicken Washington - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. half and half
    dash of pepper
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 chicken breasts, boned and halved
    1 egg
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.
    Blend in flour, then half and half, salt and pepper.
    Cook and stir until thickened. Remove from heat.
    Add Cheddar cheese gradually.
    Turn mixture into a 9-inch pan and chill thoroughly.
    Shape cheese mixture into 4 sticks and secure with toothpicks.
    Dip breasts into flour, then egg, then coat with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
