Microwave Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. diced potatoes
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion, thinly sliced
    1 c. water
    3 c. milk
    1 bay leaf
    1 sprig thyme
    salt and pepper
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Put potatoes, onions and butter in a large bowl.
    Cover with plastic wrap and pierce several times.
    Cook for 10 minutes on High.
    Add milk, water, thyme, bay leaf, seasoning and nutmeg and cook for 7 minutes on High.
    Leave standing, covered, for 1 minute.
    Uncover and cool slightly.
